Today in our Instagram stories we did a little knitwear test, did you know how to recognize them? We leave the solution to the test here, and leave us in the comments how many of you got it right. In this post, we give you the test results and help you recognize some kind of knitwear, among many that exist in the knitwear world.

The image above is the first one we have presented to you. What is the technique to achieve the two-tone effect called?

First of all, this bicolor effect is called “plated”. The fabrics called plated are those fabrics that are obtained by feeding the needles simultaneously with two yarns of different type or color, with the purpose that one of them comes out on the right side of the fabric and the other on the reverse side of the fabric.

In this picture we asked you how many types of ribbing there are. How many have you seen? If you count well, you will see that there are 4 types of ribbing on the sweater. Watch out for the collar, it’s a bit folded and misleading.

In this last picture, we asked you the following question, what is the technical name of this part? This question you should have guessed right as we have asked it many times 🙂 The technical name of this part is called “cajetín”.

Did you get any of them right, did you like the test? Leave us your opinion in the comments.
